The Friends of Westminster Park Annual General Meeting is being held at 8.00pm on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at Westminster Park Community Centre, Five Ashes Road, Chester CH4 7QS.  We hope you will be able to attend.

Good morning! St Mary’s would like to announce that we are part of the Warm Space initiative.

We will be offering a warm space with free hot drinks and refreshments at the Parish Centre every Monday afternoon (except Bank Holidays).

So many people are struggling with heating costs, social isolation and feelings of anxiety as we face this next few months. You see the happiness of people anticipating Christmas and we want to support those who don’t by offering our help as a ‘soft place to fall’ every Monday afternoon.

Please spread the word that Monday afternoon 1-4 (except bank holidays) Anyone can come along for some warmth, refreshments and company.

CWAC are also offering warm spaces in their libraries during opening hours.

Westminster Park Residents’ Association is holding a Public Meeting to discuss the revised planning application for housing behind Five Ashes Road, Rowcliffe Avenue and Sherbourne Avenue.

Belgrave Primary School are conducting a consultation regarding a proposal to develop the new school for the Kings Moat Village.  It is intended that Belgrave will once again become an Early Years/Infant school and the new school will cater for the junior pupils.  Please find below a copy of the information on the Belgrave website which details how to make your views known

Please find below a copy of the Agenda for our AGM to be held at 8pm this Wednesday 27th April 2022 at the Westminster Park Community Centre.  All are welcome, but only members may vote.

The Committee will report on the Association’s activities in the past year and Committee officers and members will be elected.  Residents can raise matters of concern.

Our Councillors will be present and the bar will be open after business has been concluded if anyone wants to stay on to discuss anything with them or Committee members.

Last year’s AGM minutes and audited accounts are also available on previous posts.  If anyone wants copies to be mailed to them, please let the Secretary know on sec@wp-ra.org.uk.  Unfortunately as the photocopier is defunct we cannot provide printed copies.
